Concept Leisure&Health: ‘Pluk de dag’

WHAT 'Pluk de dag' offers students with and without a disability a surprise activity. Through a questionnaire these students are matched based on their preferences and needs. With other likeminded students they have a fun filled day, based on teamspirit, personal approach and equality. WHO This concept is for young persons with Down syndrome and students. There a about 12.600 persons with Down syndrome. They don't often meet other people without Down syndrome. One of their basic needs is to belong and be part of the whole. This February, a team of students of ILS took care of the Trend Tours at Ambiente in Frankfurt. You can find their Trendbook here. With the book they hope to give some insights in a few importantand interesting trends. This year’s team existed of five enthusiastic and motivated students that have worked hard to create the book.
